Recent Moves in South Louisiana
In the bustling region of South Louisiana, various businesses and nonprofit groups have been busy announcing promotions, new hires, and even the occasional resignation.
### Baton Rouge
Emergent Method has taken a creative leap by bringing Brian von Schulz on board as their creative manager. His role will involve championing the consulting firm’s internal creative strategies. Prior to this, he enhanced his creative prowess at both Horne and the University of Denver.
Similarly, Dr. Nathan Quin, a seasoned hospital medicine physician with 15 years of experience, joins Baton Rouge General. He will be working at the Prairieville location, augmenting the team at Baton Rouge General Physicians-Ascension.
Guaranty Corp. isn’t left out in the shuffle, as they’ve promoted Gordy Rush to vice president of business development for Guaranty Communications. Previously, Rush was the captain steering Baton Rouge radio stations 104.5 ESPN, Eagle 98.1, and 100.7 The Tiger.
And not to be outmatched, Guarantee Restoration Services has appointed Emilia Henry as their Louisiana business development manager. A certified fundraising executive, Henry is no stranger to leadership, having held key roles at the Baton Rouge Area Chamber, LSU Foundation, and LSU College of Science.
### Emergent Opportunities
Meanwhile, Hancock Whitney adds depth to its Baton Rouge team with three new bankers. Joanie Montelaro, previously leading Regions Bank’s business group, now serves as a senior vice president and middle market banker. Patrick Danna, boasting over 18 years of banking experience, joins as a vice president and middle market banker. Katie Gibbons, a Baton Rouge native with 25 years aiding high-net-worth clients, becomes a vice president and private banker.
It’s also worth noting Louisiana Blue’s strategic appointment. Tina Bourgeois now serves as their chief digital and operations officer, bringing over 25 years of company experience to the table.
Noteworthy Additions at LSU
LSU ushers in Michele Montero as their new system chief procurement officer. She steps into this role with more than two decades of expertise at her disposal, previously fulfilling the position at LSU A&M.
In a similar vein, Neel Schaffer, an engineering and construction management firm, promotes six to senior vice president and appoints ten new vice presidents. Among them, noteworthy figures include Dishili Curre and Matt Stevenson for their engineering and safety contributions, respectively.
### Ochsner Health’s Developments
Ochsner Health is proud to integrate new health care providers in Baton Rouge. These include Alexis Ambeau, a clinical neuropsychologist; Sherry Coleman, a mental health nurse practitioner; and Dr. Madeleine Dehner, specialising in family medicine.
Further adding to their team are Maci Petite in women’s health, Amy David specialising in ear, nose, and throat medicine, and Dr. Victoria Page, an ear, nose, and throat physician.
Acadiana’s Strategic Approach
At the Blanco Public Policy Center within the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Ben Vincent joins as an applied economist. His expertise in tax policy and labour market dynamics stems from stints with the Louisiana Legislative Fiscal Office and the Louisiana Department of Revenue.
