A Jolly Good Time at South Cape’s Trick-or-Treat
An Invitation to Delight
On this splendid October 18th, the South Cape Hospitality and Entertainment Association (SCHEA) will present its 7th Annual Business Trick-or-Treat Event. A delightful precursor to Saturday’s adult trolley affair, it’s bound to enchant both the young and the young at heart. The festivities will unfold from noon to 4 p.m., promising an afternoon of merriment.
A Safe and Spooktacular Soiree
Why not bring the little ones along for an afternoon filled with glee? As they wander through the charming South Cape, their bags will brim with sweets and delightful surprises from local businesses. Each participating locale will offer treats ranging from candies to marvellous, high-value gifts like gift cards to beloved local spots. Thanks to a thoughtful limo bus service, families can flit safely across Cape Coral Parkway.
The event is, quite Britishly, free of charge. Should you wish to register, a quick search for “7th Annual South Cape Business Trick-or-Treat” on Eventbrite will do the trick.
A Community United in Festivity
As SCHEA spokesperson Shannon Quinn describes, “It’s such a fun and safe way for kids to enjoy Halloween.” Families may meander through South Cape, snatching up sweets and, importantly, savouring the community spirit.
Quinn further remarked, “It’s one of the most heartwarming events of the year. Businesses meet local families face-to-face, showcase their festive cheer, and genuinely contribute to the community.” Such events remind us that South Cape is an emblem of mutual support and camaraderie.
Capture the Moment
No celebration is complete without a keepsake. Head to MM Brands at 1322 Lafayette St., Unit B, where the official photo booth awaits. There, capture your spooky splendour for free. Don’t overlook the Photo Booth Contest; cash prizes of $150, $100, and $50 await the most creative snaps.
Businesses Embrace the Spirit
Many local establishments eagerly participate, spreading seasonal joy and engaging with the community’s youth. The initiative fosters connections, invites people to the area, and showcases the spirit of South Cape.
So, mark your calendars, don your costumes, and prepare for an afternoon overflowing with treats, costumes, and festive exploits. Cheers!
