Russell, having lent his expertise to the PFL from his own marketing company since 2019, now assumes a direct role within the organisation.

Russell’s influence extends beyond UK shores. Although UK-based, he will report to David Green, PFL Europe’s GM, and Chris Blumberg, the Vice President of Global Brand. His input will be crucial in international ventures such as the PFL Europe, PFL MENA, PFL Africa, and the like.

In his expanded role, Russell will be at the helm of marketing, digital, and social engagements for international events, while still holding a supportive position for US-based fight nights. His new responsibility will leverage his expertise to elevate PFL’s digital presence globally.

He already demonstrated his prowess by leading PFL Europe’s digital growth in 2024, in tandem with his work on the Bellator Champions Series and the Dubai Champions Series.
