Kent’s Call for Digital Artists

Details of the Opportunity

The Arts Commission intends to select up to five artists. Each artist can present one to three works, lasting no longer than five minutes each. Sound may accompany the visuals, though it is not compulsory.

Projections and Presentations

The park, equipped with a state-of-the-art projector, will display artworks on a rotating loop. This takes place from dusk until 11 p.m., ensuring that visitors experience an array of creative expressions.

Technical Requirements

• Projections utilise a digital video player at 1920×1080 resolution.
• Videos should be compressed using an H264 Codec, either in MP4 or MOV formats.
• File size must not exceed 1GB.

Artists will collaborate closely with Arts Commission staff to fine-tune their work for optimum presentation. This cooperation extends to creating print and online promotional materials, thus broadening the reach of each artist’s work.
