A Party: Diversifying Classics
One of Polina’s delightful creations is a classic Dungeons & Dragons piece. Here, she decided to infuse the plot with additional dynamics. Notably, she included a cheeky reminder about the perils of bad habits.
A Speech: Conveying Subtext
In her illustration of a tiefling from Dungeons & Dragons, the challenge was to capture the essence of an oracle’s pose. The oracle needed not only to project the main thrust of his speech but also hint at a concealed subtext. Through careful artistry, Polina achieved this nuanced balance.
A Blizzard: Crafting Cold Atmospheres
For a Warcraft commission, Polina expertly conveyed a frosty atmosphere. It was crucial to craft the chilly ambiance as it was pivotal to the character’s storyline. Interestingly, more effort went into detailing the snow than the central figure, emphasising the setting’s importance.
