Ah, the sunny city of Phoenix recently played host to a rather splendid gathering. Nearly 200 women converged for the Better Business Bureau’s 8th Annual Industrious Women’s Summit. One might say it was quite the occasion, indeed.

The theme this year was “Women Pioneering Progress”. What a fitting choice, wouldn’t you agree? The focus was firmly on education, networking, and empowering women in traditionally male-dominated fields.

Inspiring Conversations and Connections

The day was filled with educational sessions and ample networking opportunities. Business owners and entrepreneurs had the chance to learn and connect. Topics ranged from utilising artificial intelligence to mastering financial literacy. Legal protections for businesses were also intelligently covered.

Voices of the Valley

The Let ABC15 Know team hosted the event, offering unique local insights. Attendee Andi Hess, a hypnotherapist from Chandler, shared her thoughts: “I very much enjoy being in these rooms of incredible women building incredible things.”

Reviving Local Community Spirit

The pandemic’s shadow has somewhat dulled community events, wouldn’t you say? However, coming together now allows us to rejuvenate our community connections. As Ms. Hess remarked, “These kind of events, we’ve lost since COVID… being able to come back together helps us build our local community so much better.”
